Boscastle Petrol Station:
Open Monday to Saturday and on Sunday mornings. Don’t be put off by the unprepossessing appearance. They stock a good range of basics and choose good-quality brands such as Green and Black’s organic chocolate and May’s quality meats.

Boscastle Bakery – good pasties, fresh baked bread and scones
Cornish Stores – good range of basics and some postal services)
Spar – basic supermarket and newsagent, also has a cash point (£1.50 charge per withdrawal)

Farm shop: The farm shop on the road from Boscastle to Bude sells home-grown beef and other local produce. It’s restaurant has great food and a lovely view.
Camelford
Small town about 6 miles away.
• Small Co-op; open until 10pm Mondays to Saturdays and 10am – 4pm Sundays.
• Choice of banks with cash points.
• Small Boots for pharmacy
• Reasonable butcher and souvenir shops.
Tintagel
Large village about 4.5 miles away.
• The best pasties come from Pengenna Pasties, right at the far end close to the entrance to the castle.
• The butcher (Mays) is excellent and also sells good vegetables.

• Very fancy, rather expensive deli for all those little luxuries.
• A couple of rather ordinary mixed grocery shops
• A plentiful supply of shops with various ornaments and souvenirs.
Widemouth Bay
There is a good fishmonger at the scruffy-looking shop half-way along the bay.
